Welcome Rain in a Spring Night was written by Du Fu in a cottage beside the Huanhua Creek in Chengdu. It was well-liked by later generations. At the time Du Fu has resided in Sichuan for two years, due to a drought in Shaanxi. He farmed and grew vegetables and flowers on his own. He spent so much time with the farmers and enjoyed life in the countryside, which caused his deep love for the spring rain. By writing this poem, he described the fine scenery on a spring night when rain moisturizes everything on earth, expressing his joy.
The flowing lines under the writer are natural and smooth, the structure is complex but ordered. He used modern brushstrokes to interpret the traditional artistic conception, demonstrating an interesting blending of ancient and modern, while through the frankness within the lines, we can feel Du Fu’s delight from this timely rain that everybody has longed for.
《春夜喜雨》是杜甫在成都浣花溪畔的草堂时所著，深受后世喜爱。那时杜甫因陕西旱灾来到四川定居成都已两年。他亲自耕作，种菜养花，与农民交往，因而对春雨之情很深，著此佳作描写春夜降雨润泽万物的美景，抒发喜悦之情。
书者笔下流淌的线条自然流畅，结构繁乱却有序，用现代的笔法结构诠释了极具传统的意境，古今交融中别有意趣。而字里行间流露出的率真，仿佛能感受到杜甫在这场众人皆盼的及时雨中的畅快淋漓！
