This Yamada Munemitsu kettle pot illustrates magnificent craftsmanship by featuring three different types of metal all in one kettle. The body of the kettle is hammered silver, with a layer of copper on the top half, showing a dripped effect. The full-moon shaped lid button is made of gold, shining gorgeously the copper lid. Only the most skillful metal craftsmen can achieve this masterpiece, and Yamada Munemitsu - the father of the legendary metallurgic artist Yamada Sōbi - has definitely left a legacy.
