Zhu Naizheng was born in Zhejiang and was educated in Beijing. And after his cultivation and training for over 20 years in Qinghai, elegance and unconstraint blends into an ingenious blend in his works, which made him unique.
Zhu Naizheng was known for his oil paintings, but he also had profound attainments in poetry, seal cutting, and calligraphy, especially in cursive script. This artwork is in the form of a fan, which is framed in an album and placed in a cyan silk box. The poem written on it was a famous poem by Li Bai. Li Bai expressed his emotion through describing the scenery, in which he presented the viewers with a picture with bright colors and an open artistic conception. The brushwork is smooth and free, which perfectly fits the conception and flow of the poem.
It’s been a long time since Zheng Shengtian and Zhu Naizheng knew each other. In 1998, they once enjoyed a tour together around the Rocky Mountain in Canada. After that, Zhu made this calligraphic piece as a memento. Although the artist has passed away, his strong vitality is preserved forever within his artworks.

朱乃正盛名于油画艺术，其书法、诗文、篆刻也造诣颇深，书法方面尤擅行草。此件作品以扇面的形式呈现，裱成册页的扇面，精致地装在一个花青色的绢盒中，上书诗句乃诗仙李白名作，诗句寓离情于写景之中，绘出了一幅意境开阔、色彩明快的画面，作品笔法潇洒酣畅，苍润有致，笔意如诗意般隽永深远，意之所至，引人入胜！
郑胜天与朱乃正相交已久。1998年两人曾一同畅游加拿大落基山脉。朱特制此一墨宝以誌留念。故人已去，江流不返，艺术家强韧的的生命力在这墨迹笔道中永远地保存了下来。
