Fragrance Notes

Burning Time: 40 min.

Our Nha Trang standing incense, from our Century Reserve collection, is made of carefully selected century-old agarwood from Nha Trang, Vietnam. Being aged for over 5 years, the slow and delicate ageing process allows the combination of fragrances to blend and mature and produces a purer and more gentle scent.

This standing incense delivers a unique, rich but refreshing scent that only comes from century-old aged agarwood. Agarwood, the most typical and essential ingredients used in Chinese and Japanese incense ceremony, is known for its natural effect of healing and promoting inspiration. Because of the depletion of the natural resources, the first-grade, century resolve agarwood is nearly priceless.
The aroma will enrich your daily experience and promote stronger immunity.

Perfect for everyday use, and as a hearty gift to the loved ones.

What is Agarwood?

Agarwood (or aloeswood, eaglewood) is a dark fragrant wood that has been used in incense, perfume, Chinese medicine and wood carvings for over 3,000 years. The aquilaria tree itself is odourless. After being infected by mould (Phialophora parasitica) in the heartwood, it releases a type of dark resin over time. This dark aromatic resin, featuring a woody, sweet and gentle smell, becomes extremely precious thus often referred to as "the King of Incense" and "liquid gold".

"One reason oud is so expensive is its rarity; by some estimates, fewer than 2% of wild agar trees produce it. Experts claim that the very best oud comes from the oldest trees, which are even more scarce." - Fortune, 2015

The variety of Agarwood's aroma depends on species, geographic locations, length of time being infected and a lot more elements. The fragrance notes range from fruity and vanilla to woody and smoky.

"It’s spicy, woody, ambery and animalistic — all at the same time." - Dominique Ropion, French Perfume Designer, told New York Times

Some of the best agarwood are from the rainforest of South East Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia.

Our incense uses the highest-quality sustainably harvested agarwood from these regions, combining with other all-natural ingredients to create a variety of refreshing and pleasant smell. With a precise sensation and creative mind, our incense designer adds an exciting twist to the inherited traditional recipes.
